Vom 05. bis 10.03.2015 waren wir bereits das 2. Mal mit Karatepraxis in New York.
Danke an Christian und natürlich auch an die Mitglieder des Kenwakan Dojo’s für einen außergewöhnlichen Trip.
Dies war bereits mein zweiter Trip nach New York mit Karate-Praxis. Was soll ich sagen, es war awesome! Von Schnee über Regen bis strahlendem Sonnenschein war alles dabei.
Christian hat uns mal wieder super durch den Big Apple geführt und obwohl ich schon einmal da war gab es wieder vieles neues zu entdecken.
Neben einer Dan-Prüfung im dortigen Dojo (Kenwakan.com) und einem atemberaubenden Gottesdienst in einer Gospel-Church, gehört auch das von Christian geleitete Self-Defense Training zu meinen absoluten Highlights des Trips. Mit viel Charm und dem gewohnten Witz wurde auch das New Yorker Publikum in den Bann von Christian und seiner Leidenschaft für ein funktionierendes Karate gezogen. So sehr das selbst der Iaido Lehrer seine Stunde ausfallen lies um den Karatekas die Möglichkeit zu geben weitere Kombinationen von Christian zu lernen.
Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Trip.

Karate-Praxis in NYC!
From March, 5th until March, 10th 2015 we went to NYC for the second time with Karate-Praxis.
Thanks to Christian and of course to the members of the Kenwakan Dojo for an exceptional trip.
This was my second trip to New York with Karate-Praxis. What can I say, it was awesome! From snow to rain and bright sunshine, everything was there.
Christian has once again guided us perfectly through the Big Apple and even though I had already been to New York I had a lot to discover.
In addition to a Dan examination/promotion at the local dojo (Kenwakan.com) and an amazing service in a Gospel Church, the Self-Defense Training directed by Christian is one of my highlights of the trip. With a lot of charm and the usual esprit also the karatekas from New York were captivated by Christian and his passion for a functioning Karate. So much that even the Iaido teacher skipped his class to give the karatekas the opportunity to learn further combinations of Christian.
I’m looking forward to the next trip.
